Health and Vaccinations

With direct entry from Europe no vaccination is required for Kenya. If you are travelling from a country where Yellow Fever is present you will need to proof you’ve had the inoculation. We recommend several vaccinations e.g. Yellow Fever, Typhoid, Hepatitis A and Diptheria. Check if your vaccination records are up to- date especially Polio and Tetanus. If you are unsure, visit your travel clinic and get reliable health and vaccination advice before you travel. Remember to take your Travel First Aid kit with you.

Hospitals: There are a number of reputable hospitals in the cities and large towns as well as Flying Doctor services which cover remote areas. If you happen to get sick while in Diani, we recommend you to visit Diani Beach or Palm Beach Hospitals. They offer both outpatient and inpatient treatments of an international standard. Both hospitals are recognized and affiliated to most International and domestic health insurance agencies, all you need to bring with you is your insurance documents e.g. (EHIC- European Health Insurance Card)

Tipp: Travel insurance with a return pickup insurance is recommended.
