Diani Beach

Diani Beach is located on the south coast of Kenya and attracts many tourists throughout the year. The south coast has beautiful white sand beaches and various different kinds palm trees , in front  the Indian Ocean with its warm, turquoise blue waters , a tropical paradise of which you’ve always dreamt about. The holiday region offers numerous possibilities to spend a relaxing holiday. Ideal for all water sports like hiking, cycling, biking, golfing or just relaxing. Bathing is protected by the parallel reef, relatively safe and free from sharks.

Water sports: swimming, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, surfing and diving. The best windsurfing conditions are from late April to August while the best convenient diving time is between November and April. Diving courses with Certificates are offered. Diving and surfing equipments are available for rent.

Excursions: sailing dhow trips, glass bottom among other fishing boats. Snake Park, mangrove and baobab forests, dolphin safari in Wasini, Chale and Funzi Islands.

Attractions: Aside from the numerous and beautiful national parks, there are other attractions in Kenya, for example, the Fort Jesus in Mombasa, which was built in 1593 by the Portuguese. It is used to protect access to the lagoon and the port of Mombasa. Even today, one finds a warship gun from the 19th Century. Another attraction in Mombasa is the tusks. You are about 8m high and form an arch over the (Moi Avenue) main street of Mombasa. The giant white tusks are made of aluminum, a gift from the British during the colonial period.
